Our district special education program serves approximately 4,000 students from pre-school to high school. We provide specially designed instruction and related services based on the needs of each individual student.
CBTP is a Special Education program with a partnership with Career & Technical Education for students 18-21 years of age who have been identified as having one or a variety of disabilities. The program combines the expertise of Special Education and Career & Technical Education staff to provide participants job and life skills training, and whenever possible, job placement.
It is the mission of the Tacoma School District’s Health Services Department to enhance the academic success of students and wellness of staff through Health Education, Nursing Services, and Environmental Safety.
