Sports

By Miriam

People say Football can be dangerous, due to the lack of strength, speed and skill. Because of that, people have been getting injured. Some people would want to have Football banned from ever getting innocents hurt. But how will others get stronger if they don’t train their hardest? It’s more like a difficult decision to make. Other people like sports because you are exercising the mind and body for different strategies for combat or just regular gaming sports. Other people hate the idea of having sports because other would fracture or break specific bones in your body.

The reason Football shouldn’t be banned, because people use equipment for safety. Like helmets, shoulder pads, gloves and cleats. This equipment can protect the players from any severe injuries. Football is a dangerous sport but if you play it right you more than likely won’t get hurt but accidents do happen whether you know how to play or not. There are dangers in playing football but that is known and if you don’t want to get hurt then football maybe isn’t the best sport for you.

People get hurt all the time but it’s their passion to get on the field and I don’t think it’s right to take that away from people because people get hurt. I understand that they don’t want people getting hurt in the sport of football but this isn’t the worst sport out there, yes people get concussions and can mess up their brain if you’re not careful, but what about boxing they purposely hit each other in the head. I just don’t think it’s right to try get rid of football because people get hurt. That is part of football if you want to do tackle football then that is a risk that you need to take.

But, the amount of people who get hurt during football and keep playing is because they want to get stronger. No matter how many injuries they get, they never back down from the game. Yes, others are saying football should be banned because of the harm it causes. But it can’t stop others for trying to keep playing. It may be difficult, but that’s why people train their hardest. To be able to get better and think of great plans. So people need to rethink about banning Football. Even though others get hurt doing this sport, they never stop playing. They want to get stronger no matter the consequences. And this is coming from a girl who doesn’t really like Football.

Even though I don’t enjoy Football, it’s still something to other people. I don’t really understand what’s so entertaining and fun about it but, I do know that different people love having football around. The sport is kind of an inspiration for adults and kids to play. Seeing how tough Football player is makes you want to be like them. Playing football is like representing where you came from. So, don’t ban Football without other people’s opinion about. I know I don’t like Football and I also know that football means a lot to others.
