Open Gym
Attention all students: The Stadium wrestling teams will be hosting open gyms three times this week. Today, tomorrow and Thursday, after school, meet in the Pac building where a variety of activities will be available. So bring your gym shoes and a water bottle today, tomorrow and Thursday, after school. Meet some new friends, reconnect with old ones and get your cardio on.
Hilltop Scholars Free Tutoring Information Table at Lunches 9/19
The Hilltop Scholars program will be tabling in the cafeteria on Thursday, September 19th during 1st & 2nd lunch. Visit their table to learn about free tutoring resources!
Debate Club Meeting
Do you like talking to your friends and meeting new and interesting people? Are you mentally stimulated by smart conversation about what's happening in your community and in the world? Do you know what a REAL argument is?? Come to Debate Club to find out! Meet in Mr. Tanabe's class, room 213, after school on Wednesday, September 18th, from 2:15 to 3:00...and tell your friends!
University of New Hampshire and Verto Education Visit 9/17
The University of New Hampshire and Verto Education will visit Stadium on Tuesday, September 17th during both lunches. During your lunch, please visit the Career Center if you would like to find out more about the University of New Hampshire and the cafeteria if you would like to know more about Verto Education.
University of Alaska Fairbanks Visit 9/18
The University of Alaska Fairbanks will visit Stadium on Wednesday, September 18th during both lunches. Please visit the cafeteria if you would like to find out more about the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Ping Pong Club
Hey all you Ping Pong fans!  Next Wednesday, Sept. 18th, we will have the first Ping Pong Club meeting of the year immediately after school in the cafeteria.  We'll begin setting up tournaments and choosing officers.
Scholarship Presentation 9/18
Directly before “Back-to-School Night” on Wednesday, September 18th from 5-6 p.m. in the Stadium Library, Mrs. Junderson will be hosting a Scholarship Presentation for interested students and families. This is an introductory-level presentation about finding and applying for scholarships including basic information such as where to look, tips and red flags. All are welcome!
Book Club starts Tuesday
Calling All Reader Please come to the library after school on Tuesday, September 17, if you would like to join Paws and Read.  All are welcome.  See Ms. Fullerton in the library with any questions. 
Girls Basketball Meeting
Attention female hoopers, there is a girls basketball meeting on Wednesday after school at 2:15 in Room 121. If you are interested in Being part of a new winning era, with new coaches and a new culture - then Stadium Girls Basketball if for you... room 121 Wednesday after school.
MDC Upward Bound
If you attended Upward Bound over the summer and have not contacted or met with Mr. Hector, please stop by room b-13 to go over the plan for the rest of this school year.

Transportation You Career Speaker Series for Girls KICKOFF EVENT 9/27
Stadium Girls: you are invited to participate in Transportation You, an exciting opportunity to learn more about careers in transportation. Transportation You will involve a monthly FREE LUNCH and guest speaker series from local women working in careers related to road construction, public involvement, engineering, land use planning and more! Participating seniors will have the opportunity to apply for a $1,000 scholarship. Learn more by attending the kickoff meeting on Friday, September 27th in the Career Center during both lunches. NCAA
Are you a current athlete? Do you want to compete in college sports? This is your chance to learn how the recruiting process works. Recruiting expert Paul Putnam will explain the steps you need to take to make it to the next level. All current high school athletes and their parents are encouraged to attend this free recruiting education event Wednesday, September 18th at 5:30pm in the auditorium. If you’re serious about playing your sport in college, don’t miss this session.
Stadium Boys Tennis
Stadium Boys Tennis defeated Bethel Monday by a score of 4-1.  Contributing to the victory as as follows:  At singles, Jonah Panzer and Andreas Torres.  At doubles the teams of Thomas Moore/Riley Flynn, Antonio Herdandez/Josh Nehls and Sol Fix/Eli Robinson.
The LENS Project Registration is Open
Discover what happens when you share your unique voice - you can build confidence, help others, inspire change and earn credit!  LENS is open to all students Mondays from 2:05-4:15, Beginning October 7th - December 16.  Registration forms are available in the Main Office and Attendance Office.  Please submit your registration form to Tacoma Arts Live or Ms. Sage.
