Parents invited to learn how to use TPS’ Home Access Center Oct. 9

10/7/2013 | TACOMA, Washington

Tacoma Public Schools encourages parents to use the district’s Home Access Center (HAC) to view their child’s grades, test scores, class work, attendance and more. And to help parents better understand the system, TPS offers parents in-person training session options from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9 at Baker, First Creek, Meeker and Truman middle schools.
Staff members from TPS’ Technology Services department will walk parents through how to log in and review HAC’s basic features, along with helping them understand what they see in their own child’s accounts.
For those who are unable to make the training session, the HAC site has new step-by-step instructions and video tutorials that will help both new and returning users navigate the site.
Returning HAC users should use their existing user names and passwords that the district issued last year. For help logging in, please contact your school. Those new to Tacoma Public Schools may set up an account directly on the HAC page at
