Frequently Requested Public Records

Some Public Records may be accessed through the District website without the necessity of a Public Records Request. The following frequently requested records are available online:

Hours of Inspection:
District records must be inspected at the Central Administration Building. Public records are made available for inspection and copying during normal business hours of the District, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding District holidays. 

The District may adopt modified business hours during June-August, at which times business hours will be 7:30-5:30, Monday through Thursday, or as published on the District website. District offices are CLOSED on Fridays June through August. District holidays are set forth on the calendar available on the District’s website, but normally include all state holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Lists of Individuals:
If you are requesting lists of individuals, please complete and sign the DECLARATION OF NON-COMMERCIAL USE and submit it with the completed PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST FORM. Lists of individuals will not be released without a signed Declaration of Non-Commercial Use.

Public Records Act Exemptions:
Certain information is exempt from disclosure by law. A list of the most common potentially exempt records is provided below. This list is not intended to be exhaustive. Pursuant to RCW 42.56.070(2), "An agency's failure to list an exemption shall not affect the efficacy of any exemption."
