All requests are reviewed within five business days. You will receive a response with one of the following:

• Access to the requested records electronically.
• A request for additional information or clarification.
• An estimate of when the first installment of records will be available (this is applied for large or complicated requests)
  • These types of requests can take an extensive amount of time to process and may include multiple installments.
  • If the request includes emails, additional time may be needed as emails often require redactions.
  • A requester may prioritize certain records, which we will try our best to accommodate.

After all records have been provided, a closing letter will be sent, letting the requester know that the request has been completed. 

District records must be inspected at the Central Administration Building. Public records are made available for inspection and copying during normal business hours of the District, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding District holidays.  District holidays are set forth on the calendar available on the District’s website, but normally include all state holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Requests for student records by a current or former student or the student's parent/guardian should be directed to the building administrator at the student's current school; transcripts for former students and Special Education records requests should be directed to the Student Records Department.
