Volunteer to help support our students

Dedicated volunteers can mentor and inspire students and provide new opportunities beyond what schools can. Whether you are a member of your community with no children in school, a parent interested in helping in a classroom or a motivated student looking to give back, Tacoma Public Schools can use your help!

On Nov. 8, 2022, the Washington State Department of Health released updated COVID-19 guidance. Staff, volunteers, and contractors no longer need a vaccination to be in a school.
