There are two ways students can find assignments in StudentVUE, through the grade book or the calendar.
Grade Book
Step 1- Click on Grade Book, select the correct marking term (ie: Semester 1) and click the class.
Step 2- Use the filters to narrow down what you’re looking for.
Calendar
Step 1- Click on Calendar, then click on a calendar date to see all the assignments for that due date. You can use filters to narrow down your choice if you wish (classes, assignment type or status).
Step 2- Once you find the assignment you are looking for, click Open Assignment to view details.
Assignment Content Discussion & Submission

If your teacher has enabled online features, you can access Discussions or Submission here.
Clicking ✔️mark as done hides the assignment from your to do list.
Each school will provide students specific course selection guidance based on the student’s grade level next year.
Step 1 - Click Course Request from StudentVUE (or ParentVUE)
Step 2 - Any course(s) that display under Selected Course Requests were added by your school. Students will not be able to change or remove them.
Step 3 - To add more course requests, click the blue button.
Step 4 - Start typing the course title under Search Courses to see a list of available options. If needed, click on the triangle to read the course description.
Step 5 - Click Add Request or Add Alternate.
Step 6 - If you make a mistake, click Remove to remove the course from your selections.
Step 7 - Continue making selections until complete.
Two Options for Submission: Upload and Text Editor
When submitting work, you will have a choice of either Upload or Text Editor assignments, or both. Your teacher may specify the type of submission they want in the assignment instructions.
Submit Assignments through Text Editor
Login: To submit assignments, login to StudentVUE via the ‘Students’ tab on the TPS website or by selecting StudentVUE in the ‘TPS Favorites’ folder in their Edge browser.
Step 1- From the StudentVUE homepage, select Submissions. Then click + Add Submission.
Step 2- Select Text Editor.
Step 3- Be sure to use the options to format your submission with headings, bold, numbers, bullets, highlighting, add links, tables, video, and more.
Step 4- Select Turn Inwhen ready to submit.
Step 5- Click mark as doneto remove the assignment from the list.
Submit Assignments through File Upload
Directions for students to turn-in their work using file upload.
Login: To submit assignments, students should login to StudentVUE via the ‘Students’ tab on the TPS website or by selecting StudentVUE in the ‘TPS Favorites’ folder in their Edge browser.
Step 1- From the StudentVUE homepage, students select Grade Book.
Step 2- Select the Submission tab and then click + Add Submission.
Step 3- SelectUpload.
Step 4- Click the Select File to Turn-In option. You can also drag and drop the file in indicated space. Browse and select the file(s) you'd like to submit, then verify the correct file is uploaded.
Step 5 - Select Upload & Turn-in.
Step 6 - Add Notes for your teacher. (optional)
Step 7 - Click mark as doneto remove the assignment from the list.
