Elementary Summer Learning

Students who just completed kindergarten through 8^th grade can use their school-supplied laptops to access iReady online learning.

iReady provides:

• Personalized lessons in reading and math
• Practice based on your child’s skill level
• Self-paced learning
• Progress tracking for families

Students can log in anytime during the summer from any location with internet access. This helps prevent the “summer slide” and keeps skills strong for the next school year.

Families can visit TacomaLearns.org to find summer programs across Pierce County for students in pre-K through 12th grade.

• Location

For the 2026 Summer Learning program, Multilingual Learner (ML) students will be using Imagine Learning to support their English language development. ML teachers will provide students with login credentials, including usernames and passwords.

Our Student Services, Special Education, Extended School Year program (ESY) provides continued learning for students who qualify through their Individualized Education Program (IEP). 

IEP case managers will work with families and share information for students who qualify for ESY services.
