Due to COVID-19 related safety and health requirements and the state's stay home order, we have revised summer learning for Elementary students. Elementary summer school will be completely virtual for 4th and 5th Grade students only. Students identified by their schools as needing more support or performing below reading and/or math level, will be highly encouraged to register for Summer School. A limited number of spots will be available.
Camp Discovery will include live instruction from teachers along with independent work/study time where staff will be available with office hours and be able to check in with students. An internet connected device and internet connectivity are required for participation. If a family needs one of these resources, a limited number has been made available at their school for check out.
Who: Incoming 4th and 5th Grade students performing at or below grade level. Students/Families are being recommended by Title I/LAP staff. If you have questions about whether your student qualifies, please contact your student's school counselor.
When: Monday July 6th – Tuesday August 4th. Program will run Monday – Thursday, Monday-Tuesday in the final week. Programming will operate in a virtual manner, so hours and days will vary by the individual needs of the student and their families.
Where: Online. Internet Connected Device (Computer, Tablet, etc) and Internet Access will be required to access program.
