Tacoma Public Schools Special Education Records for students who have left the Special Education program in 2016-2017 will be destroyed on December 31, 2024 per the Washington State Retention Schedule and WAC 392-172A-05235.
To obtain the records, the former student (if over 18) or guardian (if under 18) must pick them up at 608 S. 8th St., Tacoma, WA, or email RECORDS@tacoma.k12.wa.us to request the records be emailed. Photo ID is required in both instances. Please call 253-571-1076 or email RECORDS@tacoma.k12.wa.us to request the records.
