Whittier Elementary Construction Updates
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Whittier Elementary, built in 1962, serves K-3 students in Fircrest.
While their schools is under construction, Whittier students will attend school in the former McKinley Elementary building.
Expected opening: September 2027
This project is funded by the $535 million school construction bond voters passed in 2020.
