ABOUT THE PROJECT

Tacoma Online is moving to the first floor of 9th and Broadway. Improvements are underway on the first floor of the building. The project will also include a full renovation of the ground floor to provide space for Willie Stewart Academy. The spaces will include classrooms, student gathering areas, offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and a staff breakroom and kitchen.

Expected opening: Fall 2022

This project is funded by federal dollars from the Elementary Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund and will include necessary HVAC improvements as part of the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act. This money was granted to address the impact that COVID-19 has had on elementary and secondary schools.
