ABOUT THE PROJECT         

Mary Lyon Elementary houses students in pre-school through fifth grade, and includes a suite of learning areas dedicated to students with autism. At three acres, the Mary Lyon site is one of the smallest in the school district.
 
While their new school was under construction, Mary Lyon students attended school in the former McKinley Elementary.

Projected budget: $34.9 million 
Opened: September 5, 2019
Architect: DOWA-IBI Group
Contractor: Pease & Sons

This project is funded by the $500 million school construction bond voters approved in 2013.
