Real Estate Services
As part of General Support Services, the Strategic Operations team provides centralized real estate services to district decision-makers and departments. This includes the buying, selling or leasing of property, as well as other real estate services such as requests for easements and reviewing the district’s centralized inventory.
We regularly evaluate the use and need for various facilities and properties throughout the district with the following objectives:
- Supporting opportunities for students
- Reducing operational costs
- Aligning programs and services with student and community needs
Funds from the lease or sale of school district property is deposited into the capital projects fund as authorized by RCW 28A.335.060 and is used to fund capital projects or property acquisitions.
