Vaccine Clinic at Baker Middle School, June 1

Meal by Pita Pit and gift card available to participating families

Get a head start on the next school year by checking school immunizations off your list. At a June event, people from 5-18 years old can get free back-to school immunizations.

  • When: Thursday, June 1, 3:30 to 6 p.m.
  • Where: Baker Middle School, 801 S. J St. (main entrance)
  • Prepare: Registration is required.

Families do not need to bring insurance, ID or proof of residence.

Meals from Pita Pit will be provided to people who attend the event. Gift cards for $20 – one per participating family, while supplies last – will also be shared. This event is sponsored by the Health Commons Project, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department. Get more information at tpchd.org/kidsvax.

Vaccine Clinic at First Creek Middle School, June 8

Tacoma Public Schools students can get free vaccines at a series of upcoming clinics. 

Immunizations are by appointment-only. NO WALK-UPS will be accepted. Registration is limited; link below. Parents must accompany their children during vaccination and must complete screening and consent forms prior to appointment. If registration becomes full, families can schedule an appointment any time at the ACTS Pharmacy, located at 1901 S Union Ave, building B, suite 2011, Tacoma, WA 98405: 253-272-0324

Available vaccines:

  • School-ready childhood vaccines (age 4 & up, TK4)
  • 7th grade entry vaccines (tDap)
  • All other 4–18-year-old vaccinations
  • COVID-19 boosters also available (students and their parents/guardians)

Requirements

  • Appointment required
  • Parents/guardians must complete screening and consent forms online
  • Upload vaccine records and insurance card (if any) when completing the consent. If uploading is not possible, emails vaccine records/insurance care at info@actspharmacy.com
  • Bring any immunization records you have. *If you do not have records and your child has not received immunizations in WA State, and is not in the health department system, they will not be able to get vaccinated at this event with the tDap, Meningococcal, and HPV vaccines
  • Students will not be vaccinated without parent/legal guardian. Parents/guardians must remain with child throughout vaccination process
