Exchange Students

F-1 Programs:

J-1 Programs: 

• CETUSA
• Ayusa High School Exchange Programs
• Youth For Understanding USA
• AFS-USA
• ICES USA
• International Student Exchange (ISE)

• Must be entering high school (grades 9-12) and have not completed high school in their home country

TPS offers eligible international student admission into either a one or two semester program

• A one-semester program consists of approximately 4 and a half months of study 
• A two-semester program consists of approximately months 9 of study 

Tuition must be paid in full prior to issuing I-20. Tuition rates for F-1 students are:

• $13,000 for one full academic year
• $7,000 for one academic semester

TPS does not directly place students with families. Students usually go through their program agency and are placed with a host family.  

In addition to providing student meals and a room, host families also help the student adjust to the customs and culture of the U.S.

Homestays are a major part of the experience and are more than just housing, host families help with language and cultural learning.

• Fall semester – Deadline is July 15
• Winter semester – Deadline is Dec. 1
