Whitman Elementary Historic Modernization Project

The Whitman Elementary School Historic Modernization Project is anticipated to begin with procurement in 2028 and to open fall of 2031. Before construction begins, the school district will follow a procurement process to carefully select qualified companies that can safely and responsibly deliver the project. This historic modernization project transforms the school with a fully updated interior while preserving its historic exterior character. Students are anticipated to attend a swing school during construction. Once a contractor is chosen, updates will be provided on this webpage regularly.
