Fields Upgrades & Replacements: Summer 2026

New baseball and softball fields are under construction replacing the heavily worn fields with synthetic baseball and softball fields, perimeter fencing, ball control netting, enclosed dugouts, bullpens, and batting cages. New restrooms and concessions are being built in addition to ADA paved pathways. An ADA-accessible spectator area will serve baseball, softball fans.

Silas’ heavily worn tennis courts will not only be reconstructed but two additional courts will be built.

The track will be completely resurfaced, lights will be updated to more energy-efficient lights throughout the entire stadium including locker rooms, and the jumbotron will be replaced.

Contractors will replace the existing grass fill inside the running track with synthetic turf.*

The existing south field at Birney Elementary School will become a new turf* playfield with perimeter fencing, a backstop fence, and ADA paved pathways.

Truman fields will receive new turf.*
