School Photography

The District contracts with Lifetouch for photography services at each school. Though student and class photos are the primary service provided, there may be special events that schools coordinate additional photography services.

General Services

Lifetouch is the exclusive provider of individual student and class photography services. The following are additional services provided by request of the school:

Dances/Proms
Sporting Events
Clubs & Yearbook
Candids

In the event that Lifetouch cannot perform the services listed above due to scheduling conflicts, the district may use another provider for an event.

Ordering/Receiving Prints

Families will receive communication with a direct link and unique code from Lifetouch with instructions for ordering photos. Families will only be able to review their student's photos.

If families do not want their student to participate in photos, they should contact their school's front office. For questions or if families want to remove past records, they must contact Lifetouch directly at 1-800-736-4753 or go online: Lifetouch Help Center.

Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

All contracted vendors are required to comply with FERPA and applicable Washington State privacy laws.

Background checks

All contracted vendors with the district are required to perform background checks for their employees or volunteers who may have contact with students.

Data privacy

All contracted vendors who require and/or receive personally identifiable student and employee information are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information provided. This means that all contracted photographers with the district cannot share or disclose data, including photos, with third-party entities.
