High School Athletics and Activities

Requirements for participating in athletics

Students attending non-traditional high schools

Tacoma Online students need to contact Athletics at Athletics@tacoma.k12.wa.us to confirm their school of residence before registering for athletics. 

Students attending SAMI, SOTA, IDEA, Oakland, homeschool, charter school or another high school equivalent program may be eligible to compete for their resident comprehensive high school. Please contact your resident high school's athletic director. 

Homeschool, private and charter school students must be fully enrolled in Tacoma Public Schools to include immunization records and emergency health information.
