What is AP?

The Advanced Placement (AP) Program gives students the chance to tackle college-level work while they're still in high school and earn college credit and placement.

When are the AP Exams?

The AP Exam(s) are taken each May. The AP Exam is the final step each student takes after a year of hard work in an AP class.

How many AP courses are available?

The AP program consists of 38 college-level courses across multiple subjects. Students may, and often do, take more than one AP course during the school year. These elective courses prepare students for the AP examinations. Students who are successful on AP exams may meet certain college entrance requirements and/or earn college credit if they score well on these exams.
