The board of directors of Tacoma School District No.10 recognizes the need to establish and support an internal audit function as an independent appraisal to examine and evaluate district activities as a service to the administration and the school board. The superintendent will provide the board of directors copies of all internal audits performed in the district.

The school board, through the Citizens Finance and Audit committee, shall review, at least annually, the results of internal audits and the planned deployment of resources for future internal audits.
