The purpose of this policy is to provide a work place free from aggressive, threatening, or violent acts through the development and implementation of an effective program that provides a safe work place. Threats, threatening behavior, acts of violence, or any related conduct that disrupts another's work performance or the District's ability to execute its mission will not be tolerated. To this end, the Superintendent will take appropriate measures to prevent and respond to violence in the workplace.

 

The provisions of this policy apply to all work sites owned or controlled by Tacoma School District No. 10.
