TPS Stories & Recognitions

We want to celebrate and recognize what’s going on in our schools every day, from the small moments to major breakthroughs.

We bet you know individuals or groups of students, TPS staff or volunteers who took on a big project, accomplished something remarkable, or had the grit to try something new.

You’ve also probably seen people doing the day-to-day work that helps reach long-term goals. We’d love to share those stories.

Need some help figuring out how to get started? We have some ideas. We surveyed more than 2,000 families, students, and community on what success looks like for students, adults, and the system as whole. Their answers fell into categories like “critical thinkers,” “mentor and coach,” and “conflict resolver.”  Those categories might inspire you to take the next steps and submit a nomination. 

When people complete this form, we'll follow up to ask more questions. Stories may be shared on our website, social media channels and/or in our newsletter.
