Street and sidewalk improvements at N. Whitman & N. 23rd streets

Turner Construction will be performing utility connections and street and sidewalk improvements at the intersection of N. Whitman and N. 23rd streets Dec. 20-31. Vehicles and pedestrians will have intermittent interruptions to streets, sidewalks, crosswalks and intersections.

Traffic control plans will be in place during work to ensure pedestrian and vehicle safety. Flaggers and directional signage will be available for through traffic. Changes to traffic flow can be expected during this part of construction.

Workers will perform the work between 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of Dec. 25. The following work will be performed:

  • Road demolition
  • Storm drainage improvements
  • Street paving patching
  • Utility connections
