Concrete slabs and steel beams at Skyline

Rainy fall weather isn’t stopping the Turner Construction crew at Skyline Elementary. Concrete slabs and structural steel are complete. Turner has also begun installing the steel walls and roof panels.

Around December, the crew will start sealing exterior walls and roof to keep out rain and wind. Once complete, work can begin indoors without the threat of weather damage.

Construction of the new elementary school continues through July 2022, with the new Skyline expected to reopen in fall 2022.
