For some, the idea of working across the hall from your mom, or your daughter, would be difficult, if not impossible. But for Crescent Heights Elementary second-grade teachers Tamara and Kate Sharp, their shared passion for student success makes their family bond stronger.
Kate grew up watching her mother, Tamara, teach, and hoped someday to follow in her mom’s footsteps. But Kate never expected she’d end up teaching across the hall.
The Sharps, lovingly nicknamed “Momma Sharp” and “Baby Sharp” by the Crescent Heights staff, rejoice in how teaching has become a family affair. Thank you Momma-Sharp and Baby-Sharp for sharing your inspiration, humor, and passion for student growth.
