Summer school canceled for Monday, June 28

Due to the weather forecast for extreme heat on Monday, all TPS summer school programs and classes are canceled for Monday, June 28.

UPDATE: No meals for students will be available at any of our schools or meal pick-up locations on Monday, June 28.

Programs and classes are expected to resume on Tuesday, June 29.

Once again, all summer school programs and classes are canceled for Monday, June 28.

Meanwhile, Pierce County has opened “cooling centers” in various locations today through Monday. And Pierce Transit is providing free bus rides to those cooling centers.
