Submit questions and participate in Interactive Budget Webinars
Interested in how the district budgets to support student success? Tacoma Public Schools will host a series of 6 interactive webinars about the 2020/21 budget. The series starts June 23 at 6 p.m.
Each 45-minute webinar will cover how the budget addresses a different topic from the district's strategic plan. Community members will be invited to send in questions or comments during the webinars. They may also submit them in advance using the online form above.
Questions will be answered by webinar panelists who are experts in the topic. Questions and comments will help inform the Tacoma School Board as it considers the proposed 2020/21 budget.
Community members are encouraged to participate in the webinars live online by following the links below for the specific day and topic. All events will be hosted on Microsoft Teams Live, no software or registration is needed:
Each interactive budget webinar will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. and end at 6:45.
The webinars will be shown live on KTPS TV in Tacoma on Comcast Channel 26 or Click/Rainier Connect Channel 25. Video recordings will be available to watch later.
The Tacoma School Board will hold a hearing on the proposed 2020/21 budget on July 9 at 6 p.m.
