The survey for Elementary schools is available from March 10 to May 7, 2010.
The surveys for Middle and High schools will become available April 21 to May 21, 2010 (after Student-Led Conferences).
Tacoma Public Schools values input from students, parents and staff. This is the second year for the Climate Survey and we hope to gain valuable information so we may continue to improve our school system.
There are three Climate Surveys; Students, Parents and Staff. Each survey is designed to gather opinions and perceptions regarding school climate, Student-Led Conferences, safety, communication, diversity, and student learning. The surveys have less than 20 questions and are appropriately worded for the target audience.
The Student survey should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. All responses are strictly anonymous and the survey is voluntary.
