The survey for Elementary schools is available from March 10 to March 26, 2010.
The surveys for Middle and High schools will become available April 21 to May 21, 2010 (after Student-Led Conferences).
Tacoma Public Schools values input from staff, parents and students. This is the second year for the Climate Survey and we hope to gain valuable information so we may continue to improve our school system.
There are three Climate Surveys; Staff, Parents, and Students. Each survey is designed to gather opinions and perceptions of school climate, Student-Led conferences, safety, communication, diversity and student learning. The surveys have less than 20 questions and are appropriately worded for the target audience.
The Staff survey should take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. All responses are strictly anonymous and the survey is voluntary.
