The district’s middle schools will host back-to-school nights Thursday, Oct. 13. Middle school parents should check with their child’s school to find out the time for that school’s back-to-school night.
Practices for middle school Session I athletics will resume Monday, Sept. 26, at the end of the school day. All sixth-grade participants will practice three days a week, and all seventh- and eighth-grade participants will practice four days a week, Monday through Thursday only.
The district rescheduled these back-to-school nights and athletic activities due to the strike by members of the Tacoma Education Association.
