Mason students selected for junior all-state orchestra

Jonathan Ritson and Caitlin Upshall, eighth graders at Mason Middle School, were selected as outstanding music students and will participate in the fourth Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA) junior all-state orchestra.

They will join more than 200 other young performers for an event on March 14. These accomplished musicians will rehearse together under the direction of outstanding music educators and will present a final concert in Burien’s Highline Performing Arts Center.
