Lincoln H.S. to host Regional Drumline Festival Oct. 28

Lincoln High School will host the Tacoma Regional Drumline Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lincoln Bowl at Lincoln High School. The admission is free. Local middle and high school drumlines will perform during the festival, sponsored by the Commencement Bay Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA).

This is only the second year Lincoln has had a drumline, and the school will be entering both a varsity and junior varsity drumline in the festival. Others schools that have registered to date include Stadium High School, Meeker Middle School, Bellarmine Preparatory School, Peninsula High School and Garfield High School.
