Foss German students get high scores in national exams

Congratulations are in order for several Foss High School German students who were among the more than 20,000 students nationally who took the national German exams. 
  • Fred Tomlin scored in the 98th percentile on the highest level, Level IV. He placed fifth out of the 49 students who took that level in the state of Washington.
  • Kudos also go to Keyona Ransom who scored in the 75 percentile on that level.
  • Svetlana Rygalov scored in the 98th percentile on the Level II exam. She placed fourth out of the 105 students who took that level exam in the state of Washington. 

These students will be honored at a ceremony hosted by Dr. David Tinsley, German professor at the University of Puget Sound. The students will be awarded medallions and book prizes for their achievement.
