Bj's Bingo to provide jackets for all Lister students

BJ's Bingo in Fife will provide nearly 400 Lister Elementary School students with a black sports jacket with the school name embroidered in yellow. The students will receive the jackets in their school colors on Nov. 18.

Each year, BJ’s Bingo makes a donation to a needy school or charity during the holiday season. This is the third year that BJ's has outfitted students in a Tacoma elementary school with warm coats.

Lister Principal Rafael Maltos said, “All the jackets will be exactly the same and in our school colors. This will greatly help with our school identity.” The school colors are black, yellow and white. Every jacket will have the school logo embroidered on the left chest, which will promote school pride and a sense of community.
