Instructional Technology

The Tacoma Public Schools Instructional Technology Department provides curriculum, instruction and tools to promote student learning, enhance the teaching process and facilitate communication in order to guarantee that each student will attain the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes that lead to a self-sufficient, socially responsi-ble life to the best of his or her individual potential.

 Online Grades

 Site Trainings

Instructional Technology trainings can be requested at your school. Classes  can be arranged for whole staff or instructional groups at a staff  meeting, waiver day, or after contractual hours for district or school optional pay and clock hours.  More Tacoma teachers are asking for this delivery model as opposed to always coming to the PDC for a class.

Some of the advantages of having training at your site include starting at a convenient time, and tailoring instruction to the needs of participants.  Please contact Cindy Pantley at 3541 with any questions you may have and to arrange a class at your site. Please note that a minimum of 10 people is needed for a site class for clock hours.
