First Creek Middle School

First Creek Middle School is located on the eastside of Tacoma and has a population of approximately 830 students. The student population is a mix of cultures, socio-economic levels and languages from the First Creek neighborhood and elsewhere in Tacoma. First Creek students are assisted in their efforts to prepare for high school by strong partnerships with Pacific Lutheran University, City University, University of Washington Tacoma, Milgard Windows, World Vision, Project SAVE and many other programs during and after-school hours. First Creek is Tacoma's newest middle school, opening in 2009. Extensive playfields, computer labs and a well-equipped library complete with television studio are available for students. Our school is kept in great condition by our great custodial staff, and visitors to our building are always impressed by the cleanliness of the school and the grounds.
